AbilityOne is one of the largest sources of employment for people who are blind or have significant disabilities. The program requires federal agencies to purchase certain products and services from participating nonprofit agencies. Products are listed on the Procurement List maintained by the U.S. AbilityOne Commission.

A federal agency purchases office supplies from an AbilityOne nonprofit that employs workers who are blind.
