Eligibility Requirements
Small Business:
- 250 or fewer employees
- Annual gross receipts average under $10M (or limits by industry)
- Virginia-based
SWaM:
- 51% owned by women, minority, or service-disabled veteran
How to Apply
1. Create account in SBSD eVA system 2. Complete certification application 3. Submit documentation 4. Review and site visit if needed 5. Certification decision
National Certifications Recognized
May accept NMSDC, WBENC, federal certifications
If you hold these certifications, Virginia may accept them in lieu of or to expedite state certification.
