Program overview
How Abbott Laboratories's supplier diversity program works.
Abbott says it works to expand opportunities for small businesses, including socially and economically disadvantaged businesses, and recognizes SBA small business classifications. It accepts self-certification but encourages third-party certification from the SBA, NMSDC, WBENC, Disability:IN, NVBDC and the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Businesses start by registering their company on the supplier portal. Registration does not guarantee business.
