Program overview

How The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's supplier diversity program works.

The Port Authority certifies MBE, WBE, SBE, DBE, ACDBE and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses (SDVOB) at no charge. A vendor first registers in PA Procure, which is separate from certification, then applies for certification through the Diversity Management Portal run on B2Gnow. MBE and WBE certification lasts five years, SBE and SDVOB three years, and DBE and ACDBE one year with annual updates. Out-of-state M/WBE firms must hold certification in their home state.
