How The TJX Companies's supplier diversity program works.
TJX has run its Supplier Diversity Program for more than 30 years to broaden the supplier base for goods and services not for resale across TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, and Homesense. The program covers the US plus Canada, the UK, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Australia. For US suppliers, TJX encourages certification with at least one of Disability:IN, the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the National Veteran-Owned Business Association, or the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, plus state, local, and federal certifying agencies. Its copy covers businesses at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by minorities, women, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, or people with disabilities. Diverse-owned businesses register at tjx.supplierone.co, and TJX contacts registrants that fit an open RFP. Suppliers must meet the TJX Vendor Code of Conduct.
